You're outta luck here. ODBC drive SQL syntax doesn't support members.
Unless you're writing to the API set, you also can't do an override because
the override must be done within the same job as the SQL calls. Logical
files are pretty much your best alternative.

The only ODBC driver I've seen that supported members was ShowCase's ODBC
driver and they have long since pulled it from shrinkwrapped distribution
(dumb, huh?).
