Hi, I have a query problem. I want to insert a record into a table which is having two columns. The values for this columns will come from different records of another table but from the same column. Whether a record puts the value into first or second field is determined by another column's value in that record. i.e. TABLEa fld1 fld2 TABLEb xxx n Here TABLEb has multiple records. Now a record is to be inserted into TABLEa. The fld1 takes the value of xxx where n value is say 2. The fld2 takes the value of xxx where n value is say 4. Hope I am clear..
