That's exactly what we're doing with the dial-in PC's at our plants.
Differences are, we're using Micro Channel (55SX's) with DOS 5.0.  The
application softwre is IBM's workstation emulation (twinax).  This
application will NOT run with an operating later than DOS 3.3.  We "fool" it
by using the DOS setver command -- Set Version -- to make it "think" its
running under 3.3.
