Do you really mean 09/09/99?  I have never seen any place use 09/09/99 as a
special value.  On the other hand, I have seen lots of 99/99/99 and 00/00/00
used for special purposes...  Some Y2K folks have been warning about this,
but I suspect it to be an urban legend.
