No.  Data on the AS/400 will be represented as 90999, not 9999.
 
It will be interesting to see.  I realized this when I was writing a check
last night... I wrote 9/1/99 and thought "Hmmm... 9/9/99 is coming up.
Should be the first big Y2K test."
 
Then I thought "Oh well, at least the AS/400 should be safe."
Then I thought "I sure could go for some french fried taters."
Then I thought "I've been standing here thinking for a while.  I best be on
my way home."

A few places that I worked at used 9/9/99 to mean the end of time.  Was this
a very common practice or was I just lucky enough to work at a
disproportionate sample?  If it is common, the end of time is this month, is
anyone on this list worried about it?
