Or maybe this is just the hangover from the nagging old problem of single
digit months and days!
Businesses with this problem can only be open the first 9 days of the first
9 months of the year.

I have seen quite a few applications with 99/99/99 and 00/00/00 in them.
These were also the programmers that thought the 10000.0001 trick was
really cool too.  Some of the older versions of BPCS have had dates like
that in them to,
