~ For 3 months its been like this ?? !!
Well its only a test machine.

~
~ If you do a WRKOPBJPDM QSYS QHST* *FILE do you see anything ?
~ I'd assume not...
Nope - I get command not found :)

~
~ What do you think you did to get rid of them, by the way ? You
~ can delete them
~ but the system generates new ones...
Well, it used to. I've copied one over from another system and DSPLOG doesnt
even see this (with *BEGIN and *END dates).

~
~ Even if you had the cleanup options set to 1 for System journals
~ and system logs
~ your should STILL see something...
Nope, not even if I send a message direct to QHST.

~ There is also the system value QHSTLOGSIZ which is normally at 5000.
Thats still the same

~ Might be time to call IBM unless someone else has more info...
~

I do get the QHST message queue, which I can send messages to as normal, but
no DSPLOG entries turn up. I tried changing the authorities, no change. I
tried 'jumpstarting' it with a QHSTnnnnnn from another system. I removed
QSYSMSG.

What I know I did was switch off auditing and remove the journals.
I guess in my enthusiasm I deleted something I shouldn't have....
