Hi,

The only (simple) definitive way that I can determine which side was IPLed 
from is the DSPPTF command.

The second line will show "IPL source", and it will indicate ##MACH#B or 
##MACH#A.

I think that we once referred to the AS/400 as "computing made simple", but 
I guess that we can't remember that any more.
