Steve,

There are numerous educational offerings going on all over the
country. I'd be willing to bet that that frequency is past
one-a-week and is approaching one-a-day.

Some of the events that I know of include:

>COMMON (Baltimore, October) www.common.org
(Shameless plug, I work and teach for this conference)

>PowerSkills 2000 Tour (Various cities) www.400school.com
(Shameless plug, I work and teach for this conference)

>IBM Tech Conf (Las Vegas, June )
>www-3.ibm.com/services/learning/conf/as400/index.html

>Your user Local AS/400 User group
(Post your city and someone can direct you to them, or check out
one of the magazines for a URL)

And many, many more. IBM AS/400 Magazine has a great list of
AS/400 educational offerings at /www.the400resource.com. Click on
the "Events and Education page and you'll see a comprehensive list
of training events.
