Thanks for the replies. My DOS batch file will do much the same and will be
triggered by NT's own scheduler. Would have been nice to do though!

Dave,

We have some customers sending files to NT servers using FTP and then
relying on a product called File Dog (not sure of the name) to detect the
file and load it to a database on NT. You can also launch a batch process
using RUNRMTCMD and an Rexec server on the NT.
