A customer just called me and asked about his software
subscription fees. He has a 9406-500 with 2141 processor.

The IBM operator was quoting a price of 7,000 for one
year of Software Subscription. I did a config and it
shows $ 2,000. The 7K number must be for 3-4 years ????

Does anybody know the "real" number for that particular
machine. I thought it was a P10 group, but I been wrong
before. I haven't spoke to IBM but I would like some clue
before I begin the telephone drill....
