Dmitri, I am very sorry that I did not pay closer attention to your original note. The only ways I know are to do a WRITE to a disk record with a Z field in it (don't refer to the Z field in your program) or to use embedded SQL like so: c/exec sql c+ select current timestamp into :wrkTime from onerec c/end-exec You should create a work file with one record in it for efficiency. But won't, the cost of calculating those fractions of a millisecond be greater than the resolution you're looking to achieve?
