Title: RE: Compile SQLRPGLE with ALWNULL
Hi Gökhan,

I think what you're looking for is called PASE. It's a subset of AIX that is supposed to allow AIX applications to be ported to the AS400/iSeries. It must be installed from the OS/400 distribution media. It does NOT replace OS400 as the primary OS, and it is NOT a full featured unix environment. RS6000 (pSeries) and AS400 (iSeries) are NOT the same machine, though they do SHARE some of the same technology and components. This is a cost saving strategy, but in no way does this mean that the two architectures are identical.

Subject: Unix on AS/400

Hello All,
Is it possible to install Unix OS into AS/400? (I don't mean clustering and without OS/400)
I have heard that AS/400 and RS/6000 are the same machine, both are "Made in Rochester". Difference is OS. Is that true?

Best Regards,
