Hi Bill,

You can attach a data queue to an outqueue, and thereafter any spool file
that enters the outq in RDY status will put an entry on the data queue
showing all the cumbersome stuff -- job#, userid, job name, spool file name,
etc. A simple CL can monitor that data queue and do the appropriate CPYSPLF
and CPYTOIMPF or whatever to get it into your COLD archive system.

Operations Navigator allows Copy and Paste of a spool file which is a very
convienient way to transfer but I need to have page and line commands
inorder to load it into a COLD archive system.

I know I can do that with the cpysplf command but the interface is
cumbersome, i.e. having to know job number/user/name, spool number and
spoolfile name.

Does anyone have any suggestions. Brad, does your tool do it?

TIA

Bill Albert
