Hi Bill

You could have a look at my WRKUSROUTQ utility which is a WRKOUTQ/WRKSPLF 
hybrid. It has an option for saving as a PC text file with line spacing & 
form feeds included. Even if it isn't quite what you want, it comes as 
source so you could bend it if it's close enough. If you are wanting to 
hit large numbers of spooled files rather than just certain ones on an ad 
hoc basis, then either use  the *dtaq method, as others have suggested or 
there is a program in the suite that dumps the contents of an *outq to a 
file for subsequent processing. See the Extras section on the main page 
of my site (see .sig) to get a better idea of what I'm on about.
