JT,

Are you running in a multi 400 shop?

There are commands called
SAVRST
SAVRSTOBJ
SAVRSTLIB
Which basically save an object, move it to the remote 400, and restore it.
These commands are part of
57xxSS1 22 - OS/400 - ObjectConnect

This is the function I am looking for in a ftp world.

Rob,

Doesn't the RUNRMTCMD suffice? In any event, I don't believe you need the
source for these commands. Seems this can be done strictly with FTP.

I started on a project to do this for a client, but never finished it.
Been
meaning to refresh my memory on the thing, and if you want to take the FTP
route I can post something on it (although maybe not the code).
