HI Phil,

Just a thought: Within Management Central you are able to configure and run 
various
monitors. One of these is for Interactive response times. It also has an option
where an audible alarm can be sounded. You determine the criteria for the alarm.
Set it up on a PC near you and run it. That way, when the fur hits the fan, you
will be able to identify the task(s) responsible and interrogate their
status/activity.
