Not to correct anything you say, but....

The Power Mac is running One(1) thing at a time(last time I looked)
and which "modern" language are you referring to ?? As I stated,
this is a silly discussion and comparing two very unlike boxes is
a waste of mailing list space.

If we had a EE type on the list,perhaps he/she could lead us in
a discussion of "clock speed" vs "processor speed".

Even Apple bothers to print a teeny-tiny little
disclaimer on their material that states that clock speed is no
indication of processor speed.

At the current rate of MHZ and GHZ rating, we will soon have processors
running faster than the flow of electricity(remember cycles).
