Ah! PHP! It is a beautiful thing! It is a web scripting language, server
side. It is one of the most popular modules used by Apache. It is the
equivalent of ASP and JSP. It can also be used with Windows PWS or IIS.

It is GPL. It is a VERY easy language to learn. Very fast too.

CLI I THINK is an IBM wrap to ODBC for DB2 databases. I may be
understanding that wrong, though.

Appendix E.

I am very pro PHP. If you ever here of LAMP in web/Linux circles it stands
for: Linux Apache MySQL(open source database server) PHP. It is a very
popular combo for web applications, although I prefer PostgreSQL over MySQL.
A lot more feature rich.

I get bored easy though, and since I conquered PHP, I am going to go play
with JSP now I think.

And as a shameless plug, in January Wrox is releasing their third book on
PHP, Professional PHP 4 (4 is the version of the software, not the book). I
will be listed inside as a technical reveiwer. :)
