Hi,

We have two separate printer problems that we'd appreciate any feedback
at all on!

1. We are trying to set up an Epson Stylus Color 777 as an AS/400
emulated printer. It's directly connected to a networked PC (using
Windows NT 4.0), and we are using Client Access Express V4R5M0 with
OS/400 V4R5. We've tried all the Epson models available on the drop
down selection, and we tried "other", but still can't get the printer to
be read by the 400. The print jobs sent to it just disappear into the
ether. Any ideas?

2. We have been stuck with an IBM 4224-E3 longer than we anticipated.
We were scrapping our old 5224, and waiting on the newer model that
we've ordered, but our IBM field rep, who picked up the printer for us
for delivery, appears to have vanished. Attempts to reach him through
the IBM service center and the other local rep have failed. It's a bit
puzzling, but our more immediate issue is that we have this printer that
was to be a brief loaner, and have need of some information regarding:
a. finding a user manual for it (4224-E3)
b. finding a source for printer cartridges (ours is printing very
lightly)
c. If any MBS users use this model of printer, any steps you have for
loading Charge back forms and purchase order forms (the basic Moore
form), and/or aligning any paper at all--it's very puzzling how that
works on this printer, and without a manual, we haven't been able to
figure it out for those particular forms.

Thank you very much for any feedback on these two matters.

Mark
