We still have a lot of Green Screen devices and line printers. The PC's we have
are connecting via TCP/IP and don't pass through the Perle unit anyway. Looks
to be something worth at least evaluating. Some of the key features are the NO
DISKETTE deal and the ability to configure via a web browser :-)

then sends the unencrypted data on to the AS/400.  The easiest way to set this
up (IMO) is to stick a linux box right next to your AS/400 and run the java

Sounds like they are open to input too then ? We use Synapse products for
connecting PC's and those folks are GREAT to work with !
