I suggest this method as it(twinax) is something that has been around for a
long time.  I know ascii terminals have also been there, but
everybody(almost) has seen/worked with a twinax terminal.

What about a simple serial terminal such as the pSeries use.  Or a
connection for a monitor, keyboard, and mouse like most Unix / Linux boxes.
Don't need a GUI, character based is fine.

is a keyboard, video and mouse.

I see it as its own CTL01 on Port 0 Address 0 no others.
