List people, Is it typical for it to take about twice as long to open an Excel file that resides on the IFS as it does to open the 'same' file residing on another Windows machine on the same local network? 4 seconds vs. 2 seconds is not an issue, but 40 seconds vs. 20 seconds gets to be a problem with users with a low patience level (me).
