Again, rather than FTP to the QSYS.lib file system, this would be much
cleaner into the ifs.
Create a directory called /edidatain

When they logon to the FTP server, have them do a cd /edidatain, then the
PUT.  You may have to have them do a QUOTE NAMEFMT 1 subcommand first.

The IFS is better equipped to handle this type of data.  Then you can
control moving it back to QSYS.lib.

We handle tons of EDI via FTP and it all comes into the IFS first.

Paul, Bryan, Jim, and Carl;

I just tried to FTP it myself, providing the Customer user profile and
password. It displayed an error 426 about the Data being truncated. 

Then it said 139488 bytes sent in .25 seconds. The data was not actually
truncated. The file showed up fine. Asking the client to make any sort of
change is huge. 

Their programmers are in Taipei. Jim, how would I find this log file?
