My own website is trevorperry.com. I work for Clear Technologies - an IBM business partner in Dallas Fort Worth who sell iSeries hardware. I have iSeries V5R2 and V5R3 sales and technical certifications. I am proud to be associated with this tour. I was invited to speak at this tour by the organizer - iSeries Network. What do you suggest is my ~own~ website? Who do you think I am?You can try to backpedal your association with these folks, but you might want to check your own website, Trevor. From the iSeries Network website for the Midrange Modernization Tour:
How many sessions recommend WebSphere on the iSeries?
Two.
How many sessions promote migrating Windows applications to the iSeries?
None.
How many suggest that new development be done on the iSeries?
Three How many promote the use of .Net ~with~ the iSeries. Three. How many talk about the common elements between J2EE and .Net. Three . BTW, there are only three sessions.I did notice on your bio for DevCon that "Pluta Brothers Design, Inc, develops tools that allow iSeries users to incorporate emerging technologies seamlessly into their legacy systems, providing a direct path to new architectures." What will you do when a customer wants to incorporate .Net smart clients (emerging technologies) seamlessly with their iSeries server? Maybe the MMT could help?
