Useful only if you have exactly the same configuration: number and type of disk drives, etc. Restores much faster than go save 21 and all of it's ensuing steps to restore. My belief is that it's only used by a few customers correctly. However these are the types of customers that buy 2,000 exactly identical boxes from IBM so when they say "sh!t" IBM squats and asks "what color"?
