Thanks to *all* who have helped me, informed me and educated me :-)

Really appriciated. The problem with the 'drive change' has now been solved.

To resume:
A disk failure with a 6606 type 050 (2 GB). I installed a 6606 type 074 drive
(1,5GB),
formatted it and added to the system ASP.

When loading the LIC's and OS/400 autoconfig was *On, and the new disk was
registered as of type 074 but later changed to a type of 050. Dont know exactly
if it was in the LIC- or OS/400 install.

With WRKHDWRSC *STG I can see a resource named DC15 (disk controller)
with a Type/Model 6606-074 with a status of: Not detected.

This resouce must be a leftover from first time I started the box, because all
my 12 drives is shown, and in WRKDSKSTS I have 12 disk running nicely.
The DC15 has now been removed.

Keith was kind enough to send me informations about the type-codes. Thanks.

Today I found them here
http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/200107/msg00731.html
if of any interest.

Again..... thanks to all

Leif
