that is what I would have said last year before I learned SQL procedures. The owner of your business wants you to code in a SQL procedures because the programmer is very productive, the code is portable and there is a much larger pool of SQL procedure programmers available than RPG. RPG excels at green screen apps and well the company you love so much is killing that part of the system. -Steve
