All,

I've got a Windows 2003 server with attached printer.

IIS as been installed and Internet Print Protocol (IPP) enabled.

IPP is set to allow anonymous access.

I've tried setting up an IPP device description on the 400 to print to
this printer using the following remote location:
http://mywinserver/printers/p2s-as400/.printer

But it doesn't seem to want to work.

Note in the DEVD, the port is specified as 631.

I've also tried
http://mywinserver:631/printers/p2s-as400/.printer
http://mywinserver/printers/p2s-as400
http://mywinserver:631/printers/p2s-as400

None of which seem to work, I keep getting a CPD337F - Remote device
rejected an attempt by the writer to open a connection.

Anybody know what the trick is?

Thanks,

Charles Wilt
