Nope, it uses the default 631.

Client type shouldn't matter for LPR (or IPP as MS likes to call it), its a 
standard protocol.

Have you checked that the windows printer in question is marked as shared (as 
p2s-as400 as well?)? On my win2k box at least, it has to be shared to be 
available to any outside entities, LPR enabled or not.
