All shows OK and yes, as noted earlier all "plane paper" prints are just
fine. Though that was weird at first but remembered they don't use IPDS. Did
also notice in our logs that we had to replace the IPDS Simm a couple of
years ago...

Have you checked the spooled file form length & width?
Should also be able to print the printer config from it's control panel and 
look for problems.
Are other reports sent to this printer having similar problems?
