The phone guys like to sell a VPN "solution" that is strickly hardware. I went through this with a customer. It looks like you get two routers. A couple of folks on the list were of the opinion that it was not needed. There is of course, the VPN(software) solution that comes on the box. It appears to be a confusing way to make a simple remote connection. I still don't know myself what is a better solution for a simple remote location. Allen wrote:

In the past we have not had any need to access our servers or our iSeries or AS/400's.
