In regards to your comment on contracting it out, there are probably some 
good networking vendors around who can set up a VPN for you very quickly. 

Basically all you need is an Internet connection with a static IP address 
(Dynamic works, but can be troublesome) and then you need a Firewall such 
as Watchguard or something like that which supports Microsoft PPTP or 
IPSec. 

Should only cost a few grand to complete.
