I found the an old V.3400 modem manual that has the V25BIS autodial parms in
it:

: - wait for dial tone
- pause for 1 second
= - pause for 3 seconds
< - pause for programmed delay time

I assume the program delay time can be configured somewhere in the memory of
the modem, but I don't know where. What kind of modem as you using?

Subject: Controller Description Setup

On our V5R3 system we dial out to some of our customers. ATT has changed
the pause time between the dialed number and the security code.

I currently have the connection number set up with the max like:
CNNNBR('SST9:19999999999==========9999')

I have a call into IBM software support to see how I can lengthen this but
often the list is faster. Is there another character to indicate pause?

Thank you,
Bonnie Lokenvitz
