I find it odd that IBM won't let you into the program.
You're providing a product that helps keep customers on the iSeries.

Yup - you'd think so. But some time ago IBM education apparently stamped
their little foot and insisted that they control the program as far as
Education BPs were concerned. At that point the idea of educators being in
the program who were not also formal IBM education partners became an
anathema and our Business Partner status was cancelled. Not that we were
told about it - just found out one day when I tried to log in to download
some stuff and my Id no longer worked!
I won't elaborate on why we didn't join as an education partner - they keep
saying they're changing the program to make it more acceptable - but it
hasn't happened.
