We do push our (non-savsys) backups from i to Windows. We cheated and
took
a simplistic approach, run backups night to SAVF, then FTP the SAVF to
windows. We've restored from these backups by simply FTPing the SAVF
back
to i and then restoring from SAVF. Two caveats:

1) I wouldn't want to do this with 500GB of data. (Can a SAVF even get
that big)
2) It doesn't work for "bootable" saves since you can't boot from a
SAVF.
