But I will say that the coming generation of Rational
tools is about to put VS to the test.

I sincerely hope that is true, for two reasons. First, I still code on
the System i at times, and when I move from VS.Net to Rational I'd like
to not feel like I just got out of a Ferrari and into an Amish Buggy.
And second, I like competition. Two strong IDEs can only make both
better.
