This may be a dumb question, but with v6.x are you forced to only use RDi, or do you have the option to still use WSDC v7? I mean, if you've already paid for WSDC why not just use that? Or is there some type of software license violation agreement by doing so?
We're still running v5.4, but I do see us upgrading at some point, and I just want to make sure I have no cost surprises when I do so.

Each per developer and each with it's own price.
If you haven't already purchased licenses for RDi, then you're looking
at some extra $$$$.
On the other hand, at v5r4 an unlimited number of seats for WDSCi,
SEU, and both the OPM and the ILE compilers were bundled together for
one price. So if you had one you had them all. WDSCi will work with
6.1, you just won't have syntax checking for the stuff added at 6.1.
If you can't get a trial copy of RDi, I'd suggest installing WDSCi if
you can and getting your developers used to the product enough that
selling the cost of RDi is easier.
Ideally, try to get someone like Joe Pluta or Jon Paris to come in and
do training on the product.
Then force yourself and your developers to use it. This is an
important step, as it's too easy for many developers to just fall back
to SEU rather than use something unfamiliar. I believe at least one
mailing list participant, Rob @ Dekko , actually went so far as to
disable SEU for 30 days.
Once you're used to WDSCI / RDi ....going back to SEU is painful.
