Did you start the shared key from the hmc itself.

Hi All,

Yesterday, I faced a strange issue. I was loading cum packages on system.
System was in restricted state and i was accessing it through HMC. After
loading packages, Go PTF option 8, my HMC session hung. I waited for about
half an hour but it didn't come back. Then I disconnected the session and
login to another HMC session. As I gave the session key, it threw below msg
at the bottom of screen.

043 ; Connected, waiting for partition screen. But it didnt connect.

Then, after an hour one of my colleague, logged in to HMC session and he
disconnected my session and was able to connect. I checked the history logs
and found below error messages:

Cause . . . . . : The remote system may have sent Systems

the
configuration is not
correct.
Recovery . . . : If the controller is a host system, this may not be
an

error.
If the controller is a host-type controller, the remote system may
have
more logical units varied on than there are device descriptions
configured
or varied on and attached to the controller at the local

If the controller is an advanced program-to-program communications
(APPC)
controller or host-type controller, verify the following device
description

Can anyone help me in understanding about the issue.

Thanks,
