I fully understand what you are saying, but visibility to members
isn't the only thing I was talking about. Members are simply NOT
first-class objects, the way files and libraries (and programs and
commands and data areas) are. There are a lot of subtle ways that
working with members is different than working with objects, not just
that they are named differently.
