I don't expect "bug fixes" for free anymore than I expect "enhancements".
Especially bug fixes after a certain period after you started using the
product. And then someone always argues over what is a "bug" versus
"enhancement".
Is it a bug that an HMC with out of date code cannot be reached with any
current browser because of SSL updates?
Is it a bug that RDi may not support prompting for some new language
enhancement without an update?
Personally I find it rather ridiculous that auto makers can be forced to
issue a recall a decade after the product rolled out. Then again, maybe
that's why a new truck costs twice as much as my first house. And that
was a 4 bedroom, fireplace, swimming pool with deck, large yard surrounded
by a privacy fence.
