Yes, they have to be done, at least setting the passwords. If you don't
care what time the system shows then don't set the time.

Questions.

1) Do steps 14 and 15 need to be completed at this time or can they be done
at a latter point?

I've never logged into our ASMI on our current system.



Step 16,

2) How is the managed system stated at this point?

Does it need to be powered on manually before it is added "Add managed
system"?

How is it powered on this done if not yet appearing on the HMC?
