Use the OVRDBF, one for STDIN and one for STDOUT.
Then write something that will read through STDOUT, looking for positives and/or negatives.
Example of an STDOUT.
227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,X,X)
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for ListBoxes.new (19832317 bytes).
226 Transfer complete.
19832317 bytes transferred in 1.854 seconds. Transfer rate 10699.838 KB/sec.
Enter an FTP subcommand.
quit221-You have transferred 19832317 bytes in 1 files.
221-Total traffic for this session was 19832829 bytes in 1 transfers.
221-Thank you for using the FTP service on app.

Hi Darryl
I have been thinking, if you have a PF that has the FTP commands, and you use the OVRDBF of STDIN to that file, then maybe make a program that reads through the PF member and makes the subcommands there into parameters for the functions in the service program - that might leverage what has been done before.

If that is the case the answer to your question is no, the only

validation exit point. The request validation exit points can be
used to restrict operations which can be performed by FTP users.
