By default, all is saved. As I know you’ve already modified QMNSAVE, look in there for clues other than mentioned by Rob Berendt.

For V4R5, the method you tried saves everything: There’s no CHGATR back then. Since you’re on V4R5, I can’t suggest what to do. Maybe there’s a force-flag for savobj?

I know the obvious answer is going to be why are you leaving them on the IFS and do you really need to back them up!

Not to me. A backup is supposed to be restored most easily and as a no-brainer. (If you need to restore, most often, the stress-level is considerably increased naturally.) Thus, I feel it has to include *everything* being on the system, including temporary files and whatnot. What’s a backup worth if I restore and have to manually add things someone arbitrarily decided to omit from backup, searching some other spots and manually transferring them back?
