The world has definitely changed.

I wish I had discovered Linux earlier. (Back in the 90s)

My products would have been engineered quite a bit differently.

It's funny that what's common on Linux/Unix is now so new to most of us from the i-world.

The fact that the command line life feels the same on Unix, Linux, Mac and IBMi PASE is cool as well.

Just a tip:? Consider coding for sh rather than bash.?? Most likely, the changes will be small (if any) but your scripts will be much more portable.?? Not everyone has bash installed, for example.? On Unix systems the best script writers generally target sh because it'll work anywhere
