It's only out of state (Grand Rapids MI).

Try "fcstat fcs1" (I guess fcs1 is the device name of T2 port) to check whether it is connected to a switch or not.


There's no "configure and then hook up the wiring" capability, right? You have to wire it up, then configure it?

Once it is connected to a port switch, this port enabled and enabled for NPIV, you have to run "cfgdev -dev fcs1" or "cfgdev" (without device) command for the VIOS to configure the port on the VIOS side.
