I was told it put the copyright in the compiled object. This was probably
v3r2 and whoever told me I just assumed they were right.

Does anybody know what these lines are all about, at the end of the
"as-delivered" QSTRUP:

NOWTRS:
RETURN
CHGVAR VAR(&CPYR) VALUE(&CPYR)

Now, clearly the label "NOWTRS" means "no writers," not "Now TRS-80."
But then, we have a RETURN, right before a CHGVAR that appears to be
equivalent to a NO-OP.

Seems kind of pointless.
