Greg,

Open the Excel workbook, select Data, Get Data, Data Source Settings, click on the setting you need to change, then Edit Permissions. Credentials - Edit and you should be able to see the saved user name and password you want to change.

Bill Langston

subject: Excel/iSeries issue

I have an Excel file that uses queries to pull data from the iSeries. The user ID seems to be stored somewhere for a particular user, but default. Where are these credentials stored? Are they hidden in Excel somewhere? I didn't create the Excel file, it was created years ago by a power user, no longer with the company.

Anyone want to help?

Greg
