Yes. I did it during my 7.5 upgrade since I don't have enough physical
tape drives to do a before and after backup.

I've never attempted it, but it is possible to do a Full system save to
a Tape Image Catalog?? (Omitting the IFS directory where the image
catalog resides of course).

If the image catalog is setup and? loaded, will it still be available
after going to a restricted state?
