Yes, that part of the RDi outline is very useful. Code for i's outline does start out looking like a list of files and variables, but if you collapse it, or just scroll to the bottom, you'll see the routines and procedures. Unfortunately, like the fields, these do not have where they're referenced from. However, it does make moving around the source more convenient.

I had to install more extensions to get the Outline to work (I just installed IBM i Development Pack).

The Outline has not changed. It's nothing but a list of variables. RDi Outline shows every reference and marks which refs modify the variable.
